OCS blanks Mangham 54-0: Eagles have unfinished business to address in dome
posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
The top seeded Ouachita Christian Eagles' performance personified "grown man football" in their last hurdle to the state finals, overwhelming the Mangham Dragons, 54-0, last Friday.

What was billed as a monumental clash of undefeated 1A prep powerhouses, turned out to be a one-sided showcase in front of the record crowd at Labrano Field in Mangham.

The victory sends OCS (14-0) back to the Superdome to square off with No. 6 West St. John, which topped No. 2 Vermillion Catholic, 54-41, to reach the championship game.

The win gives the Eagles a shot at redemption on Friday in New Orleans after losing 32-20 to White Castle in the finals last season.
