Dead? Who, me? Does that question get your attention? Most of us have heard some older person make a comment like: "Every morning I check the obituary section of the paper to see if I am listed." Another says, "I'm so old, I've got one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peel."
Well, when we ask, "Me…dead?"…the answer for every one of us is yes…we are all dead, but not in the way that first comes to our mind…our physical death. It is about the only thing we face every day of our lives…which we cannot escape.
