Jazzers to perform Saturday Tickets are on sale for "The Jazzers" Christmas Dance and Party, which will be held Saturday, Dec. 3, and will give dancers a chance to "Swing Into The Holidays."
The public is invited to attend this gala evening, from 7:30-10:30 p.m. at the West Monroe Convention Center at 901 Ridge Ave. in West Monroe. "The Jazzers" will play dance music from the 40s to the 80s, including Glen Miller, Benny Goodman, Tommy Dorsey, Billy Joel, Tom Jones and Frank Sinatra.
John Guice, business manager and saxophone player in the group, expressed appreciation for how well the band has been accepted in the Monroe area. "You have a lot of dancers that love this type of music and will drive miles to dance and listen to the great tunes. We are glad to give you all the Christmas gift of an evening of dancing pleasure." .....For the full story, subscribe to the The Ouachita Citizen's NEW E-Edition! |
