Dianne Cage: Dec. 1, 2011 Let's all sing. "Here comes Santa Claus, here comes Santa Claus, right down Santa Claus Lane!" Are we all having fun cooking, shopping, making a list and checking it twice and working hard to remember why we are celebrating this glorious time of the year? How many of you remember "The Bing Crosby Christmas Special?"
He closed his perfect show with "I'm Dreaming Of A White Christmas" and a message about the birth of JESUS CHRIST. I can still see and hear that amazing voice tell the story of the impact on this world of the coming of this Child. I don't remember word for word but I will never forget the feeling I had as a child. This happening changed the way I felt about Christmas: this amazing season was not about Santa Claus but all about the birth of our Lord and Savior! I still love Santa Claus, though! .....For the full story, subscribe to the The Ouachita Citizen's NEW E-Edition!
