ULM closes out season at FAU
by Jimmy Touchet - posted E-mail Story E-mail Story | Print Story Print Story
The University of Louisiana - Monroe Warhawks will look to end the 2011 season on a high note when they travel to Florida Atlantic University this Saturday.

ULM is led by sophomore quarterback Kolton Browning. Browning needs just 274 yards total offense to break the ULM single season total offensive yardage record held by the late Robert Cobb (1993).

ULM and the state of Florida have got along very well since the Warhawks joined the Sun Belt in 2001. ULM is 6-1 in Sun Belt Conference games played in the Sunshine State -- 4-0 at Florida Atlantic and 2-1 at FIU. The Warhawks lead the all-time series against the Owls 5-2 with the two losses coming by a combined three points.

The series has been extremely close since the beginning -- all seven games have been decided by a combined 22 points or 3.1 points per game.
