Thanksgiving is such a vital characteristic…and such a wonderful national day, I want to share with you a couple of beautiful things I have collected along the way.
Forgive me Lord

Today, upon a bus, I saw a lovely maid with golden hair.  I envied her — she seemed so gay, I wished I were as fair.

When suddenly she rose to leave, I saw the cruel braces as she hobbled down the aisle…a victim of polio.  But, as she passed…a smile!  Oh Lord, forgive me when I whine…I have straight feet…the world is mine!
