Cole, Blakeney to wed

Edward and Elisa Cole of Monroe, announce the engagement of their daughter, Miranda Leigh, to Ryan Adam Blakeney of Columbus, Miss., the son of Mike and Sue Davis of West Monroe, and Mike and Jan Blakeney of Monroe.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Richard Dale and Martha Young of Farmerville, and Arlon Leroy and Connie Cole of Marion.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Martha Kees of Crystal Springs, Miss., and the late A.T. and Virgie Blackmon of Taylorsville, Miss.
Miranda is a graduate of St. Frederick High School and Louisiana Tech University with a BS in Animal Science and is currently a graduate student. Ryan is a graduate of Neville High School and Louisiana Tech University with a BS in Professional Aviation. He is currently in pilot training as a second lieutenant in the United States Air Force.

The wedding ceremony will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011, at The BB Club of Vicksburg, Miss.
