OCS takes care of Oak Grove - Eagles to Host Central Catholic in Quarterfinals

The Ouachita Christian Eagles continued their pursuit toward the perfect season with a hard fought victory over the Oak Grove Tigers, 41-27.

OCS's Mark Laird was a dual threat for the Eagles with four carries for 48 yards and one touchdown and four receptions for 131 yards with three touchdowns.

OCS found success with their running game as they racked up 223 yards rushing behind their veteran offensive line that includes three seniors.

"I was pleased with our effort on the defensive line," OCS head coach Steven Fitzhugh said. "We limited their star fullback to 22 carries for 52 yards."...
