Run-off elections Saturday Voters throughout Louisiana will go to the polls Saturday to cast ballots for candidates in scores of local races.
State-wide, voters will decide the fate of a proposed amendment to the state Constitution. Polls open at 6 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.
In Ouachita Parish, voters will cast ballots in two races for seats in the state House of Representatives, the Ouachita Parish Clerk of Court's race and the race for Ouachita Parish Tax Assessor.
Also, voters will have their say on Constitutional Amendment No. 1. The proposed constitutional amendment would prohibit the Legislature from approving a tax or fee on real estate transactions.
