Quest School gets interactive whiteboard

A Monroe private school tailored to serve special-needs students will be the recipient of a state-of-the-art interactive whiteboard courtesy of Supriya Jindal.

The Quest School will receive the new equipment by way of a grant from the Supriya Jindal Foundation, an organization Mrs. Jindal established to deliver technology to first and second grade classrooms around the state.

Mrs. Jindal announced the donation late last week at a fundraising luncheon for Quest School. Mrs. Jindal was the keynote speaker at the luncheon, which was held at ULM.

"As I talked to teachers all over the state, I came to find out that our teachers greatly wanted new tools, new technology in their classrooms," said Mrs. Jindal. "You see, they explained to me. Look at what our children are doing outside the classroom."
