What are we doing?

Browsing through a new magazine, I came across a picture that really "Grabbed me"! It was a man standing over his small son, cowering on the floor…looking up at his Dad. The little boy had removed the world globe from it's stand and was rolling it around on the floor.  The father had taken it up, out of his son's reach and was looking down at him in obvious displeasure.  The caption above the picture was: "Daddy, what are you doing with my world?!  What a compelling question!  It goes straight to the heart!  Because, you see, it really is his world!

Motivated by this illustration, let's do a "track record", as parents of the next generation,…What have we done with their world…and what are we doing with it now?  Like the baton in a relay race, this is our world for a little while and then we must hand it over to the next generation.
