New Iberia at Ouachita

Across the river, the Ouachita Lions earned the No. 10 seed and will host the No. 23 seeded New Iberia Senior High (NISH) Yellow Jackets (8-2, 5-1) in the bi-district round.

"They are an explosive team on offense with two tall receivers that can go up and match catches," Ouachita head coach John Carr said. "We had look through a lot of film to actually see if they can punt the ball because their offense can score in bunches."

Despite not playing in Week 10 due to an injury, the Yellow Jackets are led by senior quarterback Javonte Johnson (6'1", 200 lbs.).
