Art with a View marks 10th year; set for Friday

It's been 10 years since someone had the idea to fill the floors of an office complex with art, throw open the doors and raise money for the Monroe Symphony Orchestra.

The Tenth Annual Art with a View fundraiser is set for Friday, Nov. 18, at the Premier Plaza building.

"It's the best party of the holidays, and this year we have moved Art with a View to the start of the season," said event promoter Cindy Ingram. "Since this is our 10th year, this show is going to be over the top with talent."

Ingram said the galleries set up in Premier Plaza will feature several new artists who have not taken part in juried shows previously.
