Ouachita picks up ninth straight road win
The Ouachita Lions extended their road winning streak to nine games with a 28-16 victory over the Natchitoches Central Chiefs.
The Lions built a 21-3 halftime lead and never looked back. Ouachita opened the scoring with a nine-yard touchdown run by senior quarterback Quentin Wheeler.
Third-year starter Wheeler surpassed the 4,000 career passing yardage mark thanks to his 164 yards performance against the Chiefs.
"Quentin has all the intangibles that you look for in a quarterback," Ouachita head coach John Carr said. "He is a leader."
