ULM museum earns state designation
A museum at University of Louisiana-Monroe has been designated as the latest addition to the Louisiana Heritage and Heroes Trail.
Louisiana Secretary of State Tom Schedler was on hand Thursday at the Natural History Museum in Sandal Hall at ULM to make it official.
The designation will make the Natural History Museum the 18th addition to the trail, which recognizes museums from New Orleans to Oil City.
The museum is operated by the College of Arts and Sciences, under the leadership of Dean Jeffrey Cass.
