Episcopal church holds annual event
St Thomas Episcopal Church will host the 58th annual BBQ from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at 3706 Bon Aire Drive in Monroe.
Events will include an art show/sale. Joni Noble and Wayne Horton, faculty members from the University of Louisiana-Monroe, Division of Art, will display their paintings, photographs, and pottery.
The Back Pew Pickers will provide entertainment. A cake walk and games for the children will also be held.
Brisket, chicken, side dishes, bread, dessert and tea are on the menu. Tickets are $8 per person and are available at the church office or from church members.
