No, we're not talking about the recent "blast off" of our travelers into outer space, but rather the danger of our being tied up here on earth.  How many times, over the years, have you heard someone give the excuse:   "I'm sorry, but I was all tied up.:  Or, maybe, "I'm sorry, but I was just too busy."  It doesn't matter what the occasion was… missing an appointment… failing to attend church services… missing a birthday… whatever.  They were just too tied up.

God has a lot to say about that. Proverbs 5:21-23. For the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord… his iniquities shall take the wicked, and he shall be held with the cords of his own sins."  (All tied up).  Acts 8:21-23"… your heart is not right in the sight of God… I perceive that you are in the bond of iniquity."  (All tied up).  II Peter 2:20

For if, after they have escaped the pollution of the world through knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein (All tied up) and overcome, their latter end is worse with them than the beginning.  It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness than, after to turn from the holy commandment."  (Incidentally, can you see how clearly God tells us that the idea of "Once saved, always saved" is false?)
