Quilt showcase seeking entries
The 2011 Cotton Festival will be held from Wednesday, Oct. 19, through Sunday, Oct. 23, and a Quilt Showcase planned for the festival is seeking participants.
The quilt showcase will be exhibited in Bay 1 of the Joe Pate building.
Cash payouts will be made in three categories. Hand quilted pieced quilt: $500. Hand crafted appliqued: $400. Machine quilted pieced or appliques: $200. Only first place winners will be selected.
