The LA Legacy Jazz Orchestra will perform from 7:30-10:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at the West Monroe Convention Center in West Monroe.

The dance band and jazz orchestra, under the supervision of Shelby McCarty and Bert Windham of Monroe, will provide music spanning from the 1940s to today. LA Legacy is comprised of 19 local musicians.

Bassist and vocalist for the band, Bach Norwood, said the band has put together a balanced program of Fox Trots, Waltz, Latin, Swing, Rock and Roll, and some surprises.
A snack bar and cash bar will be available and door prize drawings will be held during the dance.

Tickets are on sale at the West Monroe Convention Center office and at Zeaglers Music on North 18th Street in Monroe.

Call 342-8807 for tickets and table reservations for eight or e-mail jwrew@comcast.net.
