Trichel opposes Hoffmann in House District 15 State Rep. Frank Hoffmann wants to continue his work to improve the business climate throughout the state. Wayne Trichel wants to amend the state Constitution to spare education and health care from budget cuts.
The two will face each other in the Oct. 22 primary election in the House District 15 race. Hoffmann, a West Monroe Republican, was first elected to the District 15 post four years ago. Trichel was a candidate in that race as well.
In coming years, Hoffmann said the state will continue to be challenged to develop a better environment for business.
"When I went into office four years ago, we had faced a lot of tough times in this state," Hoffmann said. "We had lost the Guide Plant and State Farm, so things were pretty tough in our community." .....For the full story, subscribe to the The Ouachita Citizen's NEW E-Edition! |
