The Sterlington Panthers (1-4) picked up their first win of the season last Thursday as they downed the Oak Grove Tigers, 26-21.

Sterlington now travels to Lakeside to begin District 2-2A play Friday at 7 p.m.

Jaylon Wade ran for 102 yards and a touchdown to pace the Sterlington offense.
Quarterback Sam Lowry, running back JaQuarrius Douglas and Alex Edwards all recorded touchdowns on the ground.
