Board approves land purchase for WMHS
The Ouachita Parish School Board and West Monroe High School Foundation are working out the details to buy a piece of property near West Monroe High for the school to use at a later date.
Juanita Duke, business manager for Ouachita Parish Schools, said the School Board was approached by the foundation with the proposed purchase of a lot on Slack Street near the high school.
"The purpose would be for future use of the high school, at this time," said Duke.
