Calhoun faces two challengers in District B The three individuals hoping to represent District B on the Ouachita Parish Police Jury hail from varied backgrounds and have varied approaches to what they would do if elected. The field of candidates for the seat includes three-term incumbent Mack Calhoun and two challengers – Victor Binford and Lisa Sykes.
Each candidate offered a different plan of action if voters opt to send them to the Police Jury in elections this fall.
For retired Graphic Packaging worker Victor Binford, part of that vision will be finding the right uses for the LSU AgCenter research station in Calhoun.
