WM renews Bastrop series
For the first time since the 1998 season, the Bastrop Rams and West Monroe Rebels will meet on the football field this Friday.
West Monroe (1-2) is coming off a 14-13 home loss to Madison Central (Miss.) High School last week.
The Rebels fell behind 14-0 in the first half and saw a furious second half rally fall short. The Rebels scored on rushing touchdowns by Steven Jones and Bubba Reeves in the third quarter but were unable to find the endzone in the fourth quarter.
