Chiefs savor first win of 2011 season The West Ouachita Chiefs (1-2) picked up their first win of the 2011 football season last week and now visit Haughton (3-0) this Friday. WOHS downed the Tioga Indians 20-13 last week. It was the second home victory for the Chiefs under second-year head coach Joey Pender. Tioga took a first-quarter lead when Brandon Wright scored from two-yards out. West Ouachita fired back with a pair of scores in the second quarter to take a 14-7 lead at the halftime break.
Spencer Perkins made a 41-yard field goal and Hunter Deville scored the Chiefs' first defensive touchdown of the season when he scooped up a Tioga fumble and rumbled 59 yards. West Ouachita led 10-7 at halftime.
