Jindal endorses local lawmakers Gov. Bobby Jindal on Tuesday formally weighed in on the fall elections, issuing a list of endorsements for candidates seeking office throughout the state.
Among those endorsements were candidates familiar to many voters in northeastern Louisiana. The list of endorsements also included a number of incumbents seeking re-election.
In the state Senate District 35 race, Jindal, a Republican, endorsed Sen. Bob Kostelka. Kostelka faces two challengers in the race, Monroe attorney Jeff Guerriero and businessman Harris Brown.
