Principals honor Hoffmann
The Louisiana Association of Principals has designated state Rep. Frank Hoffmann as its Legislator of the Year for 2011.
Hoffmann was on hand in Baton Rouge Tuesday to receive the award.
Hoffmann said he was honored to be presented with the award and commended the principals on the work they do for Louisiana students.
"I told them I remembered what a Louisiana governor once said," said Hoffmann, R-West Monroe. "I've never seen a good school with a bad principal or a bad school with a good principal."
