Champion Elvis tribute artist to perform in Ruston
One of the world's best Elvis Presley tribute artists will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, at Ruston's Dixie Theater.
Donny Edwards, 36, will perform about 30 songs spanning the entire career of Elvis from the 1950s to the 1970s.
Backing up Donny is the eight-member ultimate tribute band "Fever."
Edwards grew up in Lake Jackson, Texas. He explained that people told him all of his life that he had a striking resemblance to Elvis.
"I'm a huge Elvis fan so it was a compliment," said Edwards.
