United Way campaign begins United Way of Northeast Louisiana kicked off its 2011 Campaign on Wednesday at the Ouachita Parish Public Library in Monroe, and Glen View Elementary School in Ruston.
The campaign kickoff introduced United Way's commitment to help more children graduate from high school by increasing the number of children reading on grade level by third grade. A collaboration was introduced with United Way and the Ouachita Parish Public Libraries, Monroe City Schools, Ouachita Parish Schools and Lincoln Parish Schools.
