Eagles, Panthers put much on line With local football rivalries a plenty this Friday, fans on the east side of the river will be gearing up for the Sterlington (0-2) at Ouachita Christian School (2-0) contest.
A rivalry that has spanned over 20 years, it may be new kid on the block compared to Neville at Ouachita, but fans from each community will be fired up this week. Sterlington has won nine straight games in the series.
"They are a good football team," OCS head coach Steven Fitzhugh said of Sterlington. "They run a very similar offense to what we saw against Franklin Parish."
