ULM hits road to TCU

The ULM football team capitalized early on a string of impact plays, but it was a solid defensive effort that vaulted the Warhawks to a 35-7 victory over Grambling State at Malone Stadium in front of a crowd of 26,532 — the third largest in stadium history.

"Every win is a good win," ULM head coach Todd Berry said of last weekend's victory. "I want to applaud Grambling for their efforts. I thought our defense played well the majority of the game. Offensively, though, we look out of sync. I don't understand why. This is the same offensive team we played with last year and nobody is making plays."

GSU head coach Doug Williams felt like the ULM team made plenty of plays, all while taking full advantage of mistakes the Tigers made.
