La. Tech survives UCA; welcomes UH
Despite a scare from Football Championship Subdivision foe Central Arkansas, the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs picked up their first victory of the year with a 48-42 overtime win.
The Bulldogs now turn their attention to a home date against the Houston Cougars.
Freshman Nick Isham directed a 72-yard scoring drive in the final two minutes of regulation and running back Lennon Creer made up for a crucial fourth-quarter fumble as Louisiana Tech downed Central Arkansas in front of 20,652 fans at Joe Aillet Stadium last Saturday.
