College football best show around
Never mind Barnum & Bailey, the greatest show on earth is college football. Football has just kicked off, but already we have had a season of great games, great plays and great drama.
Saturday was a great example. It started early in the morning in Auburn, Al.
I had a feeling Mississippi State would have trouble handling the favorite role and before the popcorn was popping, the Bulldogs were down 14-0.
But State battled back behind quarterback Chris Relf and tied the game up. It did appear some clowns showed up at times in referee uniforms, but State ended up inches short of taking the game into overtime.
