Caldwell seeks third term on police jury

Ouachita Parish Police Juror Walt Caldwell looks to bring his eight years of experience back to the Police Jury to help tackle some upcoming critical issues.

Caldwell recently announced he will seek re-election to the District C Police Jury seat.
The primary election is Oct. 22.

"I think there's some very critical issues that need to be dealt with, and Mr. (Mack) Calhoun and I are the only ones from the old jury, so I think experience will be very important in dealing with these issues," Caldwell said. "Having been through what I've been through, I know what needs to be done to address a number of the challenges we face."
