WO gets road test at Minden
The West Ouachita Chiefs will be looking for their first win of the 2011 regular season this Friday when they travel to Minden to take on the Minden Tigers. West Ouachita fell to the Pineville Rebels last week, 41-21.
"I thought we did some good things, but we have a lot to work on," West Ouachita head coach Joey Pender said. "Turnovers are killing us right now and we have to correct that to have a chance to be successful."
Pineville jumped out to a 13-3 lead and West Ouachita continued struggle making stops on defense throughout the game.
