Chiefs hope to improve
The West Ouachita Chiefs will host the Pineville Rebels this Friday at 7 p.m.
The Chiefs are coming off a 13-0 victory against Sterlington in the Bayou Jamb at Malone Stadium on the University of Louisiana-Monroe campus this past weekend. West Ouachita did not start the way they wanted to in the jamboree, but quickly picked up the pieces and took control.
The first half was a complete mixed bag of good offensive plays and ugly miscues. Each team suffered a pair of fumbles each in the opening half.
