Football season is here
 Football fever has officially swept through Ouachita Parish. Jamboree action takes the field all over the area this weekend and community support for their favorite schools is at an all-time high.
The sixth annual Bayou Jamb will take place Saturday at the University of Louisiana-Monroe's Malone Stadium.
Six local high school teams will have games in the Bayou Jamb this season, the highest number of local teams ever associated with the event.
The event has grown in support and attendance each year and Monroe Mayor Jamie Mayo has also taken notice of the impact the event has locally.
