Eagles return core talent for 2011

While the Ouachita Christian School Eagles football team had a bitter taste left in their mouths from the state championship game loss to White Castle, the excitement for a chance at redemption in 2011 is exciting for the Eagles.

"We return nine starters on offense and eight on defense," OCS head coach Steven Fitzhugh said. "We also return our top two punters and kickers so we are blessed with having a lot of experience back."

The Eagles will have a new quarterback after the graduation of Paul Michael Garner. Sophomore Quin Graves will see his first varsity football action this season as starting quarterback. Braden Bristo is the returning quarterback with the most experience but will be out for the first four games of the season after undergoing shoulder surgery this summer.
