White male still wanted in stabbing

Ouachita Parish Sheriff's investigators on Wednesday continued the manhunt of a white male who stabbed a West Monroe woman early Sunday morning in her Duncan Circle home.
OPSO Capt. Jason Pleasant said the white male is still on the loose and he has not been identified.

"We're working on some leads, but we've not yielded anything yet," Pleasant said.
The suspect is identified as an 18-year-old to 25-year-old white male with brown hair and brown eyes. He weighs about 150 lbs.

The suspect is wanted for attempted second degree murder.

According to OPSO Chief Deputy Jay Russell, a 26-year-old West Monroe woman was stabbed in her abdomen and chin some time early Sunday morning in her Duncan Circle home by the suspect.
