Rebels eye improvements
The West Monroe Rebels continue to work toward their first live action this Friday as they travel to Louisiana College in Pineville to take on the Zachary Broncos.
West Monroe has had some spirited practices as of late but have not played up to expectations set forth by the veteran coaching staff.
"We have a long way to go," WMHS head coach Don Shows said. "But I guess everybody does this time of the year. We are not as far a long as I thought we would be on offense. We had a good practice (Monday) and I thought the defense looked as good as we have looked in a long time."
