Chennault hosts pro event
The City of Monroe announced last week that the Northeast Louisiana Regional Amateur Golf Championship will take place Sept. 24-25 at Chennault Park Golf Course.
There will be two days of competitive championship golf with practice rounds scheduled for the week of Sept. 17. The tournament is currently accepting applicants for $100 at the Chennault Park Golf Course and online at www.monoroela.us/golf.php.
The tournament will feature 36 holes on the renovated Chennault Park Golf Course and prizes will be given in each of the seven flights.
