Locals prove they belong
The Peak Performance Track & Field Club recently returned home from the USTAF Junior Olympic National Championship meet in Wichita, Kansas, where the group took home a total of 13 top 20 finishes on the national stage.
Battling a heat index in excess of 115 degrees and 7,000 of the top junior track athletes in America, the local group made strides toward becoming a recognizable force in the world of track and field.
Despite the humidity, Peak Performance turned up the heat on the competition with greeat results on the final day.
