City chips in to aid CenturyLink
As CenturyLink has expanded nationwide with several acquisitions over the past several years, the company felt an upgrade of its facilities at Monroe Regional Airport was in order.
That's why the company has partnered with the city of Monroe to spend roughly $2 million to expand its hangar near the airport's new terminal, which is under construction.
Monroe Mayor Jamie Mayo said the city was pleased to partner with CenturyLink on the project. He said it shows how committed the telecommunications firm is to the community.
