MDA 'lock-up' August 18 West Monroe business and civic leaders will be "arrested" and put "behind bars" for the Muscular Dystrophy Association's annual "Executive Lock-Up" fundraiser on Thursday, Aug. 18, at Outback Steakhouse.
Local MDA fundraising coordinator Christina Griffin said business and civic leaders will be accused of "having big hearts and being heavily armed with kindness."
"These 'jailbirds' will volunteer to be part of MDA's Lock-Up in order to raise 'bail' by encouraging friends, family, co-workers and business contacts to make contributions to MDA that will directly benefit families in northeast Louisiana living with progressive muscle diseases," Griffin said. .....For the full story, subscribe to the The Ouachita Citizen's NEW E-Edition! |
