Goodwill Industries of North Louisiana, Inc. has been supporting the women of the Christian Women's Job Corps of Monroe (CWJC) without any official funding.

Today Goodwill received a check in the amount of $5,000 from the Grainger Foundation to help support their work at the CWJC. The CWJC works with women 17 and over from lower socio-economic statuses to provide computer skills, lifeskills and job training.

The program is free to women in the local community who qualify and the CWJC also networks with local employment agencies to help participants achieve gainful employment.
