Businessman wants council to step up efforts One local businessman believes Monroe isn't developing its riverfront along the Ouachita to its fullest potential.
The businessman, Matt Sanderson, asked Monroe officials Tuesday night to look at what fully developed riverfront areas did for cities such as Lake Charles, New Orleans and Shreveport. Sanderson delivered his remarks to the Monroe City Council during its regular meeting.
