Miss Louisiana announces platform
Recently crowned Miss Louisiana 2011 Hope Anderson kicked off her year of service and announced her official platform, Pilots for Patients, Wednesday during a special event at the Chennault Aviation and Military Museum.
The announcement was in conjunction with Pilots for Patients' celebration of their 1,000th mission. Special guests at the event included First Lady Supriya Jindal and others.
Pilots for Patients is a Louisiana based non-profit organization with volunteer pilots who transport patients to and from medical treatment facilities.
