Locals win karate medals
Members of the Bob Allen Dojo of West Monroe recently competed in the 2011 USA Karate National Championships in Arlington, Texas.
The group brought home a total of seven bronze medals from the event, which was held over four days at the Arlington Convention Center.
Zoe Allen and Grant Johns won bronze medals while Gregory Allen and Myles Johns won bronze medals in two different events.
