Promising future at WM camp

Football players from three local junior high school teams gained valuable experience and knowledge through a three-day camp hosted by the coaches at West Monroe High School.

Sixth, seventh and eighth-grade students from Good Hope, Riser and West Ridge Middle School participated in the camp.

Future Rebels took to the field Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday to not just practice for the upcoming season, but to also get a sense of what is expected of a player in one of the best high school programs in America.

West Monroe has fielded seven Class 5A state championship winning teams over the past 18 seasons and has finished runner-up another six times.
