WM to replace line, fix road
The city of West Monroe recently learned it will receive a federal grant of roughly $270,000 to replace part of the 5th Street sewer line.
The grant also help will pay for repaving the street.
According to West Monroe Mayor Dave Norris, several years ago a "gigantic collapse" occurred along 5th Street in front of the West Monroe Fire Department.
